Hotels near Buffalo Niagara Airport

Buffalo Niagara International Airport (BUF) has a rare layout: almost every airport hotel stands on one stretch of Genesee Street directly opposite the terminal, and every one of them runs a free shuttle. That makes distance a poor way to choose. This guide sorts the seven hotels by what actually differs: food, breakfast, kitchens, parking terms and price.

The strip at a glance

All seven hotels have free Wi-Fi, free parking during your stay and an indoor pool except Buffalo Airport Hotel, which has a courtyard instead. Six shuttles run 24 hours a day on request; call the desk after baggage claim and wait at the covered hotel-shuttle area to the left of the arrivals exit.

  • Hilton Garden Inn Buffalo Airport: 158 rooms renovated in 2025, Garden Grille & Bar, room service, 24-hour shop, whirlpool. The most complete hotel on the strip.
  • Courtyard by Marriott Buffalo Airport: 139 rooms, The Bistro with Starbucks coffee and evening cocktails, 24-hour market, whirlpool.
  • Aloft Buffalo Airport: 153 rooms about a mile from the terminal, w xyz bar until midnight, 24-hour grab-and-go, no restaurant, shuttle hours unpublished.
  • Buffalo Airport Hotel: 205 rooms, the closest to the terminal, Wingnutz Buffalo wings restaurant and bar, free parking with Park & Fly packages.
  • Fairfield Inn & Suites Buffalo Airport: 140 rooms renovated in 2025, free hot breakfast, pool and hot tub, pets welcome.
  • Comfort Inn & Suites Buffalo Airport: 129 rooms, free hot breakfast, saltwater pool, free local shuttle to 3 miles, parking for oversized vehicles.
  • TownePlace Suites Buffalo Airport: 120 suites with full kitchens, free hot breakfast, free shuttle to the Amtrak station.

If you want dinner without leaving the hotel

Three hotels have a kitchen that cooks for you. Hilton Garden Inn’s Garden Grille & Bar serves breakfast and dinner with a bar until 23:00 and room service in the evening. Courtyard’s Bistro does breakfast and dinner with Starbucks coffee. Buffalo Airport Hotel hosts Wingnutz Buffalo, a wings restaurant and sports bar with 34 screens. Aloft has a bar and snacks until midnight but no restaurant.

The breakfast-included hotels (Fairfield, Comfort Inn, TownePlace) have no restaurant, and the walk to the Courtyard Bistro or Garden Grille along Genesee Street is short.

If you want breakfast included

Fairfield Inn & Suites, Comfort Inn & Suites and TownePlace Suites all include a hot buffet, served from 06:00 on weekdays and 07:00 at weekends. That covers most morning flights; for a 05:30 departure, ask about grab-and-go bags the night before. Hilton Garden Inn, Courtyard and Aloft charge for breakfast; Buffalo Airport Hotel’s inclusion depends on the rate.

If you are staying a while

TownePlace Suites is the only hotel with full kitchens, dishwashers included, and it has two-bedroom suites. Fairfield’s Studio King Suites and Courtyard’s suites add a microwave and living area without a stove. Comfort Inn’s king suites have a sofa bed and sitting area.

If you are leaving the car

Every hotel gives free parking for the nights you stay. Leaving the car for a week is different: Buffalo Airport Hotel, Hilton Garden Inn, Courtyard and Fairfield sell park-and-fly packages, Aloft charges extended parking arranged in advance, and Comfort Inn sells long-term parking even to non-guests. Compare with the airport’s own $12 to $30 a day lots in Park, Sleep and Fly at Buffalo Airport.

If you are here for a game or the Falls

Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park is 15 to 18 miles south of every hotel on the strip; Buffalo Airport Hotel is the official hotel of the Bills Backers and fills on home weekends. KeyBank Center and Canalside downtown are about 20 minutes by car or 30 to 40 minutes on the NFTA 24 bus. Niagara Falls is 24 to 25 miles north; see Buffalo Airport to Niagara Falls.
